About Me

Hello! I am a bilingual (English/Spanish), Certified Doula, Perinatal Educator and Lactation Educator.  I believe that your labor is “Your Moment”! Every woman, regardless of ethnicity, skin color, financial capacity, cultural background or educational level, should have the option to labor with a doula’s support. During labor, you need to be listened to, be informed and assisted with respect and knowledge. The power is within you! I offer my education and experience as tool for your empowerment, education and support. I will encourage your inner capacity as you pursue a positive, memorable and fearless birthing experience. I have experience with home, hospital and birthing center scenarios. I am also experienced with prolonged breastfeeding, “children at birth” and high-risk pregnancy, as well as acquainted with the use of herbs and aroma-therapy. “When we as society begin to value mothers as the givers and supporters of life, then we will see social change in ways that matter”.
